UPM has signed a preliminary agreement for main equipment of the new pulp mill in Uruguay

UPM and ANDRITZ have signed a preliminary agreement under which ANDRITZ is to supply energy-efficient and environmentally sound pulp production technologies as well as key process equipment to UPM's new Paso de los Toros pulp mill in Uruguay. Further details of the agreement will be disclosed after the final contract has been signed, which is expected to happen in the coming weeks. Link to Andritz news release
