We have five pulp mills – three in Finland and two in Uruguay – with a combined annual production capacity of 5.8 million tonnes. Our new pulp mill in central Uruguay started operations in April 2023 capable of producing 2.1 million tonnes of eucalyptus pulp annually.
Our pulp production is based on the EU's 'Best Available Techniques' ('BAT') approach, and the philosophy to create more with less raw materials, water, energy and environmental impact.
World class production
Our modern mills set the industry benchmark for efficient and reliable production.
