UPM and Kemira have signed a long-term agreement extending and expanding their current bleaching chemicals supply contract in Uruguay, pending required environmental permitting. The new agreement will include capacity to support UPM’s existing pulp mill in Fray Bentos and the new Paso de los Toros pulp mill currently under construction in central Uruguay.
